The Story

The Threshing Floor is our filter blend — for pour-over, drip, and anyone who drinks their coffee black and tastes what's in the cup. Ethiopia leads with floral, citrus brightness, Papua New Guinea lays down body and a woodsy depth underneath, and Peru holds the two together with a quiet chocolate sweetness. Like our espresso blend, each origin is roasted to its own profile and combined after roasting, which keeps every component clear instead of muddied. A good pour-over pulls it all apart on the palate — which is exactly the point. Roasted from certified organic green coffee beans. (We roast in small batches on the farm; Deer Run Acres is not itself a certified organic handler.)
