By accessing or using the Deer Run Acres website (deerrunacres.com) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

All products are subject to availability. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. For beef and pork, the listed price is a deposit; the final price is determined by hanging weight at the time of butcher.

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions and images. However, as a farm producing natural products, there may be slight variations in appearance.

Beef and pork are sold as pre-orders with a required deposit. By placing a deposit, you are reserving your order for the next available processing date.

Deposit amounts:

• Beef (Small): $300 (quarter), $600 (half), $1,200 (whole)
• Beef (Medium): $450 (quarter), $900 (half), $1,800 (whole)
• Pork: $250 (half), $500 (whole)

Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price. Final pricing is based on hanging weight multiplied by the per-pound price, plus butcher costs.

Deposits are non-refundable once an animal has been scheduled for processing. See our Return Policy for details.

We accept credit cards (processed through Stripe) and checks mailed to our farm address. Credit card payments include a 3% processing fee.

For beef and pork, payment is collected in three stages: (1) deposit at time of pre-order, (2) remaining balance to Deer Run Acres at time of slaughter, and (3) butcher fees paid directly to the butcher at pickup.

For subscriptions, payments are charged on a recurring basis according to your selected frequency. Egg subscriptions require credit card payment.

Subscription products are delivered on a recurring basis based on your selected frequency (once or twice monthly). You may change, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for the current period once a delivery has been made.

There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.

Workshop registrations are confirmed upon payment. Spots are limited and are first-come, first-served.

Workshops take place at our farm at 6823 Old State Rd, Edinboro, PA 16412. Participants attend at their own risk. Our farm is an active agricultural operation — appropriate footwear and clothing are recommended.

If a workshop is cancelled by Deer Run Acres due to weather or other circumstances, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

All of our meat products are processed at local state inspected butcher shops. We follow safe food handling practices throughout our farm operations.

Once meat products are picked up from the butcher, proper storage and food safety are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend keeping all meat frozen until ready to use, and following USDA food safety guidelines for preparation.

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of Deer Run Acres and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Deer Run Acres shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service in question.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Erie County, Pennsylvania.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
