The Hearth

The Hearth is our espresso blend — built for the machine, the moka pot, and milk drinks, though it pulls its weight as drip too. Honduras gives it a sweet chocolate-and-praline backbone, Peru adds body and depth, and a small measure of Ethiopia lifts the whole thing with a bright top note so it never falls flat. We roast each origin separately to its own profile and combine them after roasting — more work than running everything through the drum together, but it's why the cup tastes like more than the sum of its parts. Roasted from certified organic green coffee beans. (We roast in small batches on the farm; Deer Run Acres is not itself a certified organic handler.)
