This single origin comes from the high Andes of Peru, grown by smallholder families and washed for a clean, dependable cup. Peru at this elevation is the everyday coffee — balanced and full-bodied, leaning on chocolate, nut, and brown sugar, with just enough gentle brightness to keep it lively. Nothing flashy. The cup you reach for without thinking, the one that goes with the work already underway. Roasted medium to develop the chocolate and sweetness, and available whole bean or ground. Brews well any way you make it. Roasted from certified organic green coffee beans. (We roast in small batches on the farm; Deer Run Acres is not itself a certified organic handler.)
