Evening Hour

This single origin comes from the mountains of Honduras, grown on smallholder community lots and washed for a clean, sweet cup. Coffee from this elevation runs round and gentle — milk chocolate, praline, hazelnut, and red apple. It's the cup for when the pace finally drops: the slow afternoon refill, the one you linger over, the one that makes a slice of pie or a quiet half hour better than it was. Holds up beautifully to milk. Roasted medium-dark to bring out the praline and brown-sugar character, and available whole bean or ground. Best as espresso, drip, or in milk drinks. Roasted from certified organic green coffee beans. (We roast in small batches on the farm; Deer Run Acres is not itself a certified organic handler.)
