What to Expect
Combine woodworking, art, and nature in this hands-on workshop where you'll build and personalize your own wooden flower press. You'll assemble a fully functional press using wood boards, brass hardware, and cardboard layers ā then use wood burning tools to hand burn a custom floral or nature-inspired design onto the top. Once your press is built and decorated, you'll learn the art of flower pressing and load your press with fresh wildflowers to start pressing right away.
What you will do:
- āAssemble a wooden flower press with brass bolts, wing nuts, and cardboard pressing layers
- āHand burn a custom design onto the wood using wood burning tools
- āLearn the step-by-step process of pressing and preserving fresh flowers
- āSelect and press fresh wildflowers into your finished press
- āTake home your completed flower press ready to use for years to come
