What to Expect
Ever wonder what it takes to roast your own coffee at home? In this hands-on workshop you'll start with raw green coffee beans and walk through the entire journey to a finished, ready-to-brew roast. We'll cover the basics of specialty coffee — where beans come from, how growing region and altitude affect flavor, and what actually happens inside a bean as it roasts from green to light, medium, and dark. You'll get hands-on time with multiple small-batch roasting methods so you can find one that fits your kitchen at home. By the end, you'll roast your own batch to take home alongside a bag roasted by us so you can compare your work to a seasoned roast.
