What to Expect
Three ingredients, two of which we produce or render right here: tallow from our grass-fed cattle, coffee from our own small-batch roastery, and sugar. That's the whole scrub. No stabilizers, no fillers, no twelve-syllable ingredients — and it leaves your hands softer than anything you'll find on a store shelf.
In this workshop you'll make one 8 oz jar from scratch. We'll talk about what tallow actually is and why it works so well on skin, how rendering quality changes the finished product, how sugar grind size changes the feel of a scrub, and how to keep water out of the jar so it lasts. You'll mix, and pack your own, choose a scent, and label it.
What You'll Make One 8 oz jar of tallow coffee sugar scrub, mixed and packed by hand: -Grass-fed beef tallow, rendered on our farm — the base that makes this scrub moisturizing rather than just abrasive -Fresh-ground coffee from our own roastery — the scrub and the scent, all in one -Sugar, with a choice of grind for a finer or more aggressive scrub -Your choice of essential oil finishing scent — straight coffee, vanilla, peppermint, or orange
What's Included -All tallow, coffee, sugar, and scent options -One 8 oz glass jar with lid -Label and use-by date -Printed handout with the recipe, ratios, scent variations, and storage notes -Hands-on instruction from start to finish
